Just fifteen months after giving birth to daughter Bella, in April 2024, Belinda Bencic confirmed her exceptional comeback by reaching the final four of this 138th edition of Wimbledon. After an impressive performance against Mirra Andreeva, Bencic, who had only ever reached the semi-finals of a Major once before (at the US Open in 2019), proved powerless against future champion, Iga Swiatek.
