Boisson proved unshakeable, dominated centre court, and burst onto the scene as the tournament's sensation. She is the new national darling, without a doubt!

Her closed eyes, her half-smile, her relaxed demeanour and the ghostly image of the glass windows on the centre court led me to choose this shot, which is both a sports image and a “soft, poetic” illustration.
