World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka is really developing her interest in photography.

Down Under at the Australian Open in January, the three-time Grand Slam champion told us she's snapping away to document life on tour.

“My boyfriend and I came up with the idea that throughout the year, we’d collect Polaroid pictures and frame them,” said Sabalenka back in January.

“I hope we have a lot of cool moments this year to collect, and we’re going to have cool pieces of art to put up in the house!”

Over to Paris and Sabalenka has been trying out another camera to reflect on Roland-Garros life through the lens.

During her practice on Court Philippe-Chatrier on Monday, Sabalenka noticed herself on the big screens and quickly whipped out the camera to capture the moment in an arty shot.

The RG25 top seed’s practice clicked through the gears, with plenty of blazing groundstrokes landing in the direction of strategically placed cones.

One booming rally earned a collective “ooooh la la” from some dedicated fans, prompting Sabalenka to respond with a chuckle. “Save it for my matches!” she joked.

Tournament Director Amelie Mauresmo joined the three-time major champ for a chat at the end of practice, after Ons Jabeur had jokingly tapped at her wrist in Sabalenka’s direction to question her time keeping. After a quick hug between the two stars, it was the Tunisian’s turn to dazzle with her usual flicks and tricks.

Sabalenka and Jabeur between training sessions

Over to Court Simonne-Mathieu and Zheng Qinwen was basking in warm sunshine.

The Chinese superstar is back on the grounds of her Olympic gold medal triumph last August and enjoyed an energetic hit on the picturesque greenhouse-style court.

Back to Court Philippe-Chatrier and world No.11 Diana Shnaider was put through her paces by Marius Copil. The Romanian men's former world No.56, who featured in three Roland-Garros main draws from 2017-2019, is working with Shnaider on a trial basis in Paris.

With the drills done it was time for a line of selfies for Shnaider, before Copil generously threw a box load of balls towards kids in the stands.

Next up, French hero Richard Gasquet made his entrance.

The crowd gave the former top 10 star a warm welcome, chanting his name ahead of what is Gasquet’s final tournament in a magnifique career.
