The Tokyo 2020 tennis competition came to a close with an all-Russian Olympic Committee final, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Andrey Rublev taking the gold at the expense of Roland-Garros 2021 runners-up Elena Vesnina and Aslan Karatsev. The bronze went to Australia’s Ashleigh Barty and John Peers.
