The Bullring basked in the baking hot sunshine at Roland-Garros for the opening Sunday. It was a glorious setting for tennis as former world No.4 Nishikori booked a second-round ticket to tackle the challenge presented by either another French charge - Benoit Paire - or Roberto Carballes Baena.
