Without a trophy since his maiden Wimbledon triumph in 2023, Carlos Alcaraz returned to winning ways by retaining his title at Indian Wells. The Murcia native won the first of the season’s three ‘Sinalcaraz’ showdowns with his Italian rival in the semis, before downing Daniil Medvedev in the decider (7-6(5), 6-1 in 1 hour 42 minutes) for the second year running.
