The founder of the Trophée des Légendes by Emirates sat down with us to share his take on the third Major of the season.
"Courtside Conversations" – EP 11: Wimbledon 2025 debrief!
In this eleventh episode of your podcast, Gigi Salmon is joined by the ever-charismatic Mansour Bahrami to break down all the highlights from the 2025 edition of Wimbledon.

On-site at the All England Club for the prestigious Invitational Doubles, Mansour Bahrami had a courtside view of all the action during the iconic fortnight in London. A masterful technician and an eternal showman, Bahrami was naturally enthralled by the incredible runs of Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, who clashed once again in a blockbuster final, just over a month after their epic thriller at Roland-Garros.
Their budding rivalry is rapidly becoming the new headline act, coming at just the right moment as the tour transitions beyond the Big Three era. Bahrami, a former Roland-Garros doubles finalist in 1989, also shared his thoughts on Novak Djokovic, whose quest for a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title may have been delayed, but certainly not derailed.
Turning to the women’s draw, Mansour was full of praise for Iga Swiatek’s spectacular resurgence. The Polish star lifted her first-ever Wimbledon trophy, bringing her tally to six Grand Slam titles in six final appearances. Dominant from start to finish, Swiatek ended a year-long title drought and is now firmly back in the hunt to reclaim the No. 1 ranking, still held by Aryna Sabalenka, who was ousted in the semi-finals by the stunningly resilient Amanda Anisimova.
